November 9th at We2 Vaudreuil
We have a special speaker who is going to share her vast knowledge with us around the art of writing!
All of us We2 members are obviously passionate about what we do as a living in the service of others, but is that message clearly being conveyed to others? So many of us claim that we’re not writers, but there are simple things that we can do to make additional time for our communications, improve our imaginations, and convey our unique stories better and/or more often to others. Julie Gedeon, who adores words and their potential, will share a few of her winning strategies.
A We2-bit about Julie:
The founder/owner of Eloquence, Julie is a long-time writer, editor and writing instructor/coach. She has more than 30 years of experience as a contributor to Canadian Geographic, Cycle, Flare, Montreal Home, and various other magazines and newspapers. Her corporate clients have included the Business Development Bank of Canada, CN Rail, Concordia and McGill universities, Parks Canada, and the Port of Montreal.
Some of her absolute favourite clients are the people who gather in her Writers’ Kitchen regularly to improve their business communications or explore their creative writing. Julie has a B.A. in Journalism, B.A. Honours in English and Creative Writing, and an M.A. in English and Creative Writing. She’s worked at The (Montreal) Gazette as a special sections editor, and at CBC Radio as a reporter. She can’t wait to share her passion for words with you!
