A WE² bit about Erica:
With 18 years sales experience, and 14 years marketing experience, Erica was a born entrepreneur. After using a small savings from working, Erica started Unique Corporate Gifts, a promotional products company she started at 24, and sold 3 years ago.
Her business journey along the way has awarded her a Promie Award, Top 40 under 40 Entrepreneur Award, Top 30 under 30 Entrepreneur award, among numerous others, and finally, The Profit Hot 50 Award – 1 of Canada’s 50 Emerging Growth Companies. She was the only female CEO on this list with 49 other men. Erica has been featured on the cover of the business section of the Gazette, Financial Post and La Presse.
Her ongoing volunteer work never tires her and she loves everything business and entrepreneurship related. She is a board member of Solomon Schechter Academy and has recently completed a television show that she is currently shopping around. Erica is a wife, and mother of two young boys.
Erica writes her own blog, Women on the Fence (www.WomenOnTheFence.com), gives Sales and Marketing Seminars, and Mentors other entrepreneurs.
Erica is currently writing a book, which is part of the first ever to be launched 10-Book Women’s Series of Self-Help Guides, The 99 Things Women Wish They Knew… Before Starting Their Own Business.
Erica holds a BA in Psychology and Marketing from McGill University and completed the Canadian Securities Course.
