Brian began his career at Nexia Friedman LLP (formerly Friedman & Friedman) in 1995. He managed several clients primarily in owner-managed private companies in diverse industries. He was responsible for the preparation of financial statements, corporate and personal tax returns. He also advised and consulted his clients on everyday business issues and took pride on maintaining a warm and solid relationship with them.

Brian was an integral part of the Firm’s Community Committee, helping raise over $62,000 for the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation and Club des Petits Dejeuners du Quebec. He was a member of the Firm’s marketing committee, involved in recruiting, and presented training seminars to staff on several accounting and tax related and computer efficiency topics.

Brian was proud to be involved in YES Montreal accounting clinics and had presented several seminars to its members.

In September 2017, after 22 years with the firm, Brian left public practice, and began the next chapter in his career as CFO of one of his long-time clients of 15 years, White Cross. A 3rd generation family business, founded in 1916, White Cross creates and distributes uniforms to the healthcare industry. In charge of finance, accounting, and human resources, Brian has embraced his new challenge and is proud that he is contributing in growing the business to the next level.

Aside from his day job, Brian finds the time to help entrepreneurs in small businesses in providing consultations and financial and tax advice, as well as preparing corporate and personal tax returns for them.
